Whenever I am not busy being the founder and director of an Internet company, I spend time composing and performing music.  (mostly composing... as that is really what I do... a process surprisingly similar to creating websites, actually)

The insights I have attained from the art and science of music gave me the inspiration to create our company logo.  Here is an explination of what it means to me... (its hidden meaning)

Imagine sitting at the edge of a beautiful pond where the surface of the water is absolutely still like a mirror of glass. Then see yourself picking up a small very smooth egg shaped pebble and tossing it high so that when it hits the surface of the water it is almost falling completely vertical.

As the ripples spread out from the center, imagine somehow picking up the very center point of the growing pool of waves and drawing it straight up transforming the entire expansion of waves into a torus shape, symbolizing evolution and awareness into expanded dimensions.

The globe stands for the earth, from which we must all respect and learn to care for just as you would respect and take care of your mother when she gets old.

Metaphorically the globe and the red nucleus together symbolize a single atom, or an entire galaxy. The spiral inside the globe can also symbolize part of a DNA molecule. All three symbols when taken together show the complexity of the entire universe is rooted in a very simple concept, and all the secrets of the universe follow this same simple model.

I see the emergence of the Internet a parallel to the emergence of our physical universe. Eventually the Internet will be a gateway into other universes which will all be connected through its vast and far reaching networks.
